TOOL LIBRARIAN ROLE
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, organised, passionate and has great communication skills; to care for our tools, run shifts, and to host workshops so others can use them too.
Our tools and community are what bring people to the tool library. The tools often have a history and are in circulation a lot of the time; they need cleaning, maintaining, and repairing to ensure they are safe to use and last a long time.
Our ideal Tool Librarian is flexible, enthusiastic, skilled in using tools and repair, highly organised and self-motivated but equally happy working as part of a small team.
It is important to us that our tools are in good working order and that our workshops are hosted safely, so skills or experience in these areas would be great but are not essential. If you’re friendly, welcoming, have a helpful attitude and enjoy using your hands please apply!
